it appears to be real, unfortunately. and yes, the animation style does not...look good.
It's also weird that I thought Puss looked good in his second movie but there's just something uncanny about Shrek in here and I can't point it out except for "different art style".
He's still alive?

shrek 1 and 2 are genuinely fun animated films. and puss in boots 2 is an incredible animated film. but mostly the memes keep it alive, yes. which is why this preview for shrek 5 probably makes fun of this.
