Do you Americans think about guns a lot?
I went to America on holiday and I kept on thinking to myself: I have no idea how many of the people around me are capable of ending my life in an instant. Worst thing I'm afraid of on a daily basis is coming accross some random person asking me for spare change or to light up their smokes

Yes, we LUST for GUNS! We daydream of shooting stuff. :steamhappy:
I dont think about it too often. But then again i dont do stupid things like try to rob, assault people or burglarize others homes. So i've never had any problems with it
Going off of the threads on here, they think about eggs a lot.
The few people that actually carry one are former policemen and stuff who would try to save you. Of course if you walk into the hood you are being silly.

Most guns stay at home and go to the range on weekend only for some fun clay duck shooting n stuff.

The last time I went to America was around the same quarter year as some guy open fired with one of those belt fed machine guns into a crowd. That was beyond what even the Americans are used to.
hell yeah bruther
I own a musket for home defense, since that's what the founding fathers intended. Four ruffians break into my house. "What the devil?" As I grab my powdered wig and Kentucky rifle. Blow a golf ball-sized hole through the first man, he's dead on the spot. Draw my pistol on the second man, miss him entirely because it's smoothbore and nails the neighbor's dog. I have to resort to the cannon mounted at the top of the stairs loaded with grapeshot, "Tally ho lads" the grapeshot shreds two men in the blast, the sound and extra shrapnel set off car alarms. Fix bayonet and charge the last terrified rapscallion. He bleeds out waiting on the police to arrive since triangular bayonet wounds are impossible to stitch up. Just as the founding fathers intended.

Yeah, don't even keep ammunition around the house, the guns can't do much without ammunition. Get it when needed, at the range.
Ive only seen 2 people open carry cowboy style a pistol. 1 in arizona in a store and a neighbor. Other than that never seen one out in public

Printing is a misdemeanor. If one has a concealed carry permit the firearms has to be carried in a manor that it cannot be seen, in full or in part, ever.

If youre referring to the Las Vegas Shooting im almost 100% certain he did not use a belt fed "machine gun".

Anyways, bad things happen. We had two people use a home made explosive to attack people running a marathon a while back as well and i still dont really think about bombs all the time,
You don't need to be American to love firearms, weaponry, and all manner of technology.

You are 100% correct, he used a semi-auto rifle(s) and a bump-stock which is a legal accessory.
