Single player games Vs Online games
These days I much prefer to chillout with a single player game. They often have good stories and can be chill while also offering a challenge.

Online games especially FPS just all feel the same now and I feel burnt out it feels like nothing new has come around in a very long time.

When i think of great games my mind instantly goes to single player games like Red Dead 2, The Witcher 3, Yakuza 7 (LaD), Black Myth Wukong Elden Ring and others.

When I try to think of great online games my mind goes further back to like BF3 or Bad Company 2.

Gaming feels kinda dead/boring now.

I've always liked online games more. but what i do like about singleplayer games, is that YOU control the game. while in online games, you will always get killed or have undesirable stuff happen by other players, so you're not in total control

Another thing I have really grown to dislike about online FPS is that jumping like a school girl has become a viable tactic.

It looks stupid and feels stupid.

Bunny-hopping actually made you go a lot faster in Quake 3, but I don't know if any other game has that.

Not going to lie ... I used to love playing Multiplayer games. Spent plenty of time playing MMOs and games that had Co-op play.

Nowadays I really prefer single player games. If they have achievements that require MP play I will do it until I get those achievements then I will stop playing that part of the game.

Single player is usually better, you don't have to worry about it being monetized as much, and you can go your own pace. Best yet, you don't have to worry about a server being closed, or getting disconnected or being banned for modifying your game.

I like both but it depends on my mood.
Playing with friends is fun but sometimes I want alone time.

I value too much my available free time to spend it having my own ass served to me by a bunch of tryhard players who can devote their lives to play games. Not to mention me not wanting to deal with the inherent toxicity of 'competitive' gaming.

Closest I go to online gaming is playing Vs bots or solo content for a couple online games
