Nobody wants games the way they did years ago. Gamers have voted with their wallets and decided that ai content and microtransactions are desirable and superior to "art style" or gameplay. Gamers are simply looking for their fix, and its important that developers design games to be as engaging as possible (yes that includes sbmm and ai nerfing in real time).

If you dont like it, dont buy it! But unfortunately for you, millions have already left you behind (sorry boomer!)

Games before were full of racism, homophobia, and only appealed to a white cis male audience. Its good that games are finally standing up and going against the grain. We need more studios like Halo Studios and Naughtydog. They are bravely going where other developers (probably ran by white cis men) arent willing to go. I will be preordering every AAA game I can that goes against a male dominated Hereronormative spciety, even if I dont play them. I dont mind my purchase acting as a donation to causes that I support.

This is a good point! It is important that games are made to be accessible to everyone (like healthcare but thats another argument for another day). Differently financially abled individuals and migrants also deserve a chance to sit back and relax on a FTP title!! All games should follow this business model

Um actually they dont need you to succeed. Outlaws was the first AAAA game. Was ahead of its time, but will be remembered as a masterpiece

More inclusiveness is a nice plus, I agree. If the game is fun I'll play it. I probably won't notice the more social-political nonsense going on in the background but I'll keep playing regardless.

News flash boomer, if these games weren't good, multibillion dollar companies wouldnt make them. They have a profit to uphold, and wouldnt risk making games that werent excellent.
