RPG with infinite character progression? v2

I knew it was in the top results on google when i searched for games like this, so others may be interested to see, and new answers were appearing even after years, and I still check them...

So I am looking for a rpg with endless character progression, Skyrim was really good for this.
A Hack&Slash seem the best choice but I know only Chronicon who do it correctly, Diablo 3 have infinite levels too but I don't like the idea to have our progression be on their servers, when online support end that mean we would lose our characters.

Not interested in Disgeae, I don't like the style.

Souls games are not endless

Hack&Slash with seasons are boring, having to make a new character every season is the opposite I want from an "endless progression"

Clickers are nice but I know them already, maybe only recents ones I wouldn't know...

Some I played:
Skyrim and older elder scrolls with mods or with the jail trick
Chronicon
Rimworld with mods adding level for each characters, with stats.
Crusader kings 3 (and 2) with fantasy mods where we got an immortal character (but it get boring really fast)
Xcom 2 (some missions are repetitives and increase the stats of our soldiers)

Do you know some games like this?
