I hate the soyjaks giving unnecessary hatred towards windows 11
Skill issue if you hate it /j but please it's not the end of the world according to Windows 10jak

I honestly find it nice to use, clean way easier to use in many cases

Idk what a sojak is but I despise Windows and it only gets worse over time. Defending M$ is unacceptable.

Well go be watched by Google then, at least they make software which is actually usable.

You could use windows 10 long-term support to delay the inevitable by 5 years.

so you're a linux user?

I wish. What I do now is use as little of Windows as possible and third-party tools for everything. Unfortunately it is simply the most popular OS, and most things are made for it. No reWASD on Linux for example.

Win11 makes me use more stupid desktop icons again where as Win10 I have a nice clean desktop apart from the recycling bin but I use both and they both have issues if you do not know how to fix the OS to make it totally stable.:badluck:

Windows 11 is fine. I accept that I can do nothing and Linux isn't an option for me because of the anti-cheat the games I play have (not that I'd be willing to make the switch anytime soon anyways even if I didn't have an excuse).

You can use Win95, Win98, Win XP, Win Vista, Win7, Win8.1, Win10, Win11, Win12, and Linux if you want to, idc, as long as it is stable and what you need.

its good that people are being aware that the microsoft practice is not conducive to privacy, but most of the uhh ppl you are referring to also use facebook and twitter and have their lives basically documented day to day through their cellphone which is listening to everything they're doing already

which somewhat defeats the point lol. (and of course you'll get the ones who are like 'i dont use social media what are u talking about lmao' *sweats heavily*)

i am stuck to use a microsoft os, since im not sure most of the admin document software i need is fully supported/bug free in a linux environment, and the microsoft os is a bit simpler to use, and easier to navigate.

i will say though, linux does what microsoft os does with a fraction of the resources, its pretty interesting. i will migrate my main office pc to the next version of windows after they're finished beta testing it, ofc.

What is 'interesting' is how ♥♥♥♥♥♥ Windows is and how everyone still uses it despite that. There's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of crap running by default which you're not even going to use probably, or which works against you. Linux is just how it should be.

Setting up Linux to do basically almost everything you want is not that difficult it just takes some time

Also there's no built in spyware and nothing gets installed or authorized without you as super user and your password...so you're basically able to have as much security on your device as you want, it's entirely managed by what you decide to install or not install. Some distros have hubs of approved apps with open source

A little python and c++ and you can tell what the program does
