UN watching Steam? - "Gaming Intelligence"
Think of what you want from GB News but there seems to be some truth to this story.

UN apparently is covertly monitoring gaming platforms (I would assume Steam forums would fall under this alongside discord) to root out radicalisation.

I imagine US users are likely alot safer from the ramifications of this kind of ultra-state surveillance in comparison to those of us in the UK, EU, Australia and Canada.

Alarmingly from the UN article:-

"Gaming intelligence is focused on carrying intelligence from open-source platforms like in games, chats and social media to track extremist content and recruitment activities. This intelligence information will inform early warning systems help to detect and prevent radicalisation at an early stage."

Mainly stuff like in game chats in Warframe.

The forums are open to all data scraping, especially AI scraping.

:nkCool:
Monitoring? Yes. To root out XYZ? No.

Sure. They want to be monitoring everything, like you already pointed out. "Extremism" is just a handy excuse. You see it all the time.
Do not accidentally an domestic terrorism
Thank you for considering. 😀
I have very little trust of multi-national NGOs and organisations as it is.

You look at the dodgy stuff Soros was up to funding District Attorneys in the US who effectively de-criminalised offences causing destabilisation within communities.

I'd love to know what the definition of extremism the UN is using.
I love big brother

Anything which is "anti-institutional", in other words, a threat to the system. But even that doesn't need to actually be there, they just need a reason to sell the "need" for monitoring. The same UN has been harassing Japan for years to make anime more "inclusive", that's all you need to know about them.

GB "news" is an oxymoron
GB "news" is an oxymoron

The UN article however isn't.

Let's be honest, BBC isn't going to cover this.

Leftists and their "trusted sources". 🤡🤡🤡
gamers have been monitored, by who tho.
after enough reading or playing games, everyone will go through some change in the language they speak and receive, like tuning into a different frequency towards all the words in society, how much tuning will render their communication with the outside world total malfunctioned? readers usually only realise these things too late.
Well Check This Out

So "radicalization" is not conforming to woke culture...

Good grief! talk about projection - this is why you lost the US election you numbskulls, it is beyond tiring after the last 8 years of this nonsense of you trying to normalize your freedom to hate speech against Caucasians, Christians and Jews.
