I love Genesis, too, but SNES was Nintendo's golden age.

The GameBoy Advance is on par with the Super Nintendo so it is considered a 2D console.

The Super Nintendo had some Mode 7 games and a few really pixelated Wolfenstein/Doom clones, but is considered a 2D console.

I.E. Jurassic Park on the Super Nintendo has some underground "Wolfenstein levels" changing to 3D perspective, but for the most part Sega Megadrive/Genesis and Super Nintendo are mainly 2D systems.

gameplay just feels tight most of the time, the visuals look great, and the music sound good.

I grew up with the GBA SP and the Sega Genesis. I do find the Sega master system and Gamegear to be more appealing to me due to the 8 bit Sonic games. I prefer those more than the Genesis counterparts

SNES's library was superior to all of it's competitors at the time. Though Genesis had better hardware for the most part, and PC Engine / TG16 was releasing badass CD games since the 80's. I think I'd still give the nod to SNES.

I gotta go with gba sp too that thing was so amazing

Just flip it closed and on the go...goodness I spent so much time playing Pokémon and other games like golden sun, Mario, donkey Kong (which I also played on snes), and snes in particular...amazing console. I wish I had one, I always played it at friends houses
