I've not played it btw.
I don't want to dedicate my time to a game that can potentially disappear forever, if they decide to make an offline version I'll give it a try.
It's more like a really good, full single player open world game with the gacha stuff just bolted on. You will prbly play through it in about 50-70 hours and then move on to another game.
Only reason to spend money on it is if U reeeeaaallyy need more shiny dresses.. but the game provides U with a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of shiny dresses for free, so no real fomo at least for me.
That said I enjoy the ♥♥♥♥ out of this game and would really like to support the developers, sadly there isn't much that I (male, over 40) want from that store 😅. Bought actually one furry monster outfit that was like 50 cents..
Only thing that made me furious is that the only Armor Outfit and sword prop in this game can't be obtained by the player character... I would buy that one fs 😖
I am tempted to spend real money for the shiny dresses too.
That said, the game is perfectly playable without spending a dime. There is a solid single player story experience that is about the length of a full game and you can unlock plenty of cosmetics just by completing the main story and events.
