What X-COM 2 clone should I play?

Hi there,
What X-COM 2 clones would you recommend guys? I took a look at steampeek and this is what found:

Battletech
Marvel's Midnight Suns
Mutant Year Zero: Road To Eden
Phoenix Point
Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus
XCOM: Chimera Squad

Which one of these is 'must play'?

Chaos Gate Daemonhunter is another W40K one. I liked it- but seem people think it's too hard.

Phoenix Point is fun, with some mild jank. I liked it better than XCOM 2.

MYZ's combat is fairly similar to XCOM, but there's also a real-time stealth/exploration layer instead of base-building and map management. The encounters have been described as more "puzzle-tactics" and I can sort of agree.

It's a good game, but if you go into Battletech thinking it'll be the same as XCOM, you will be confused. Not sure it even belongs on the list.

Girls Frontline 2: Exilium if you are man of culture.

Battletech is much better than X-COM 2.

Battletech is great.

Chimera squad is meh, not as good and quite short.

Marvel midnight sun is more card game than actual tactics, and story is bad.

Phoenix point is more like traditional xcom, lots of micromanagement like ammo and armor, but great depth and challenging.
A warning though, every dlc of this game will ruin your experience by giving broken item or badly design mechanics. Only base game.

Other than this maybe jagged alliance 3. Not quite a clone but great tactics game with a lot of replayability.
And wasteland 3.

just play X-com 2 again, i tried but i found X-com 2 to be extremely slow paced an boring the second time around.

Oh you might like Phantom Brigade, it is a similar type like X-com but with mechs and military , however it has timeline and building much like x-com including outfitting 4 units with weapons you can upgrade an build

Mutant Year Zero: Road To Eden was fun, same with XCOM: Chimera Squad (albeit there's less gameplay hours compared to the other games in the franchise).
