Is TikTok harmful or beneficial?
I was wondering about people's opinions about it. What are your thoughts?

Tik tok is bad for consumers but great for businesses.

I get consistent sales to my Shopify e-commerce store by driving cold traffic to it. I upload 50 videos (1 a day) and these videos story sell my brand. These videos sometimes go viral and I get free traffic to my store.

Is this an admission that your e-commerce store is bad for consumers?

Sorry, I should clarify. I think Tik Tok creates brain rot. In moderation it's not bad. For instance, if you watch 10 minutes a day of TT videos, that's not bad. But some people are glued to their phones.

Product demonstration videos don't create brain rot. They educate the consumer on how my product makes their lives easier. If the product has a wow factor, than the video also entertains them.

Leave the man alone and let him run his store, I've been in the trenches of ecommerce too, it's not an easy business.

Justified allegory.

I have not seen anything yet, that would justify the existence of Tik-Tok as a positive for anybody but propagandists and businesses.

I literally can't use it, it's too fast, too much information at once with no breaks, I'm convinced that it's giving people who use it ADHD.
I think TikTok can be both harmful and beneficial depending on how you use it. Personally, I've had a great experience on the platform. I started posting videos to share some of my hobbies, and it was surprising to see how supportive the community was. I even used free TikTok followers[socialfollowersfree.com] to give my account a little boost, and it helped me connect with more like-minded people. I think when used mindfully, TikTok can be a fun and creative way to engage with others.
