i'm going in for a consultation with a plastic surgeon for a possible nose job in 2025. I got a large honker myself and was thinking about getting it fixed. I know what people are going to say. A large nose makes Adrian stand out. Why change something that is part of your family. A part of your lineage. Etc.

I just want a cute little button nose.

Assuredly they would be just as satisfied seeing the nose on their own face every day as they would seeing it on Adrian Brody. If not, perhaps they could change themselves to look like him. Maybe even disassociate from their real identity. Like a really hardcore Elvis impersonator.

Then again maybe it is only satisfying on another's face. Maybe we all actually need other people for things, and this creates a moral need to manage our interactions with others. To make sure that we ourselves are not exploited for misguided internal change as an 'other' would be.

Renee Zelwieger got a nose job and she looks totally different. She's not marketable anymore because she looks like a generic beautiful woman.
