It will be replaced with a basically identical version. So no one's missing out on anything. The fact that the greedy publisher doesn't offer a discount, shows it all about making a quick buck banking on people's FOMO.

KOF used to be extremely popular (especially in Japan actually), that's probably on the level of Tekken, you know these kind of games.

All of those Ultimate/Unlimited/Global Match versions are the definitive versions.
