why do neurotypicals think having consistent interests is a sign of ulterior motives?

I have never heard anyone say this

They don't say it but that's what their behavior when reacting to it looks like to me. People pointing out that I make multiple threads on the same subject and treating it as a sign I have bad intentions when a much simpler explanation is that I'm simply interested in the topic

I think that is just because all of your threads come across as you trying to start an argument with your wording because you are grouping all neurotypical people together and then associating them with bad traits/actions?

Why do people assume ego is bad?

So basically you'd like an answer to your question, but the only people that would possibly have an answer can not or will not answer. Fascinating. A real world paradox.

You said "as egotistic as they are" this means you are saying they themselves are egotistical and egotistical is defined as being self centred which is NOT a nice thing

Why? You can have a balance, it doesn't mean one extreme or the other

Because saying someone is egotistical means they are self absorbed hhh

I think self absorbed is something else.

Well just because you think that does not mean that changes the actual definition, google the word egotistical, it is a word used to call someone arrogant, self absorbed and selfish

Self absorbed has the most extreme implications of those three terms.

That is what the definition uses to define the word egotistical, hence why I said calling someone that is nasty and people will assume you are just making posts to argue
