Do you like your culture's food? Cause I don't.
I'm Filipino - American and I find a good portion of filipino foods to be... bland or bad. The only reason why some people that claim to "like" filipino food is that they eat a heavily modified version of them in different restaurants or whoever was cooking them made it different. Either by adding more spices or flavor. The kind of Filipino foods that I ate growing up were always either bland or too salty. They were always made to be "basic" and easy to cook and accessible. Not some fancy looking dish that came from 3 star restaurant. I especially get annoyed when I'm told I'm a "fake" Filipino from other Filipino Americans when they dont even eat Filipino food everyday compared to when I was a kid. And believe me, you will get CRAZY eating the same thing everyday.

If I had a choice, I would rather eat mediterannean food everyday.

I've never even tried whale and seal blubber or pemmican, so I wouldn't know. Bannok is ok though. Soap stone isn't edible but it is oddly delicious in appearance. Is that an eating disorder? Hope not, I don't like mental illness and don't personally want to identfy as it publicly to maintain an image.

Of course yes! I've yet to learn all the recipes in my own culture food, hell there's even many regional variations with slightly different ingredients or cooking methods.

Not saying they're lying, or that you're wrong, just kinda saying it doesn't mean much considering how clever some people can be. You never know on the internet. Men play female characters in games all the time and try to hit up other guys for gold and items, the internet is a cesspool of mischievousness and mayhem.

Since Canada is a big place, we have all sorts of foods. Everything from indigenous cuisine to all of the stuff immigrants brought with them.
There's so many restaurants on my street that I could eat at a different one every night, and not be able to get to them all in a single month.

Then again, I have a friend who grew up on rice and beans, and that is what he makes for himself at home.

There is no accounting for taste, after all.

It is nice to have options though.

Most foods are from other cultures. It's hard to pick out what is culturally Canadian and what is some b*st*rdization of other cultures. Poutine, for example, has some people claiming it's not originally Canadian. Since it's just fries, gravy, and cheese. Even a Caesar is similiar to another drink that existed before it, from another culture. Nanaimo bars are similiar to other custard desserts. What is uniquely Canadian is hard to pinpoint because Canada's main culture is a mixture of other cultures.

I don't care how much of a ♥♥♥♥ hole my country has become, the simple fact is, we have Cornish Pasties and you don't, ergo, we win.
Sounds disgusting, you should airdrop some over Canada.
