I wonder if Kaspersky is still safe to use
It was a decent antivirus but has been banned by the US. I see that was more like a political ban than an actual risk. How do you think about that?

Let me explain in a very easy way to understand:

if you run windows 10 or 11, and SOMETHING does infect your machine, then you'd still get infected even if you had Kaspersky installed and running.

Kaspersky game ME the option to 'do what I wanted' with ANY intrusion or infection no matter what is was. I want the same control as I did with Kaspersky.

I can't find how to get MS to allow me to choose that same option. It just arbitrarily deletes them (I assume)

Kaspersky was fantastic. Even the free one was effective. Once they went cloud based that's when I parted ways.
