Also even other companies don't want to make manga styled comics
I say that they should make other types of comics that aren't just superheroes but rather a myriad of unique themes like mangas
???
Yessss also, Scholastic is also killing them I forgot to add them
Imagine losing to a bone
Marvel already did that. Under the leadership of Joe Quesada, Marvel diversified its product line with a bunch of different imprints - Marvel Epic, Marvel Knights, Marvel MAX and so forth. This was way, way, way back in the early aughts. They even went as far as to publish a Marvel Mangaverse. But Marvel did not see much success with it if I remember correctly.
That's why comic readers go to DC Comics when they want something more than superhero stories. DC's Vertigo imprint was home to a lot of different types of comic books. But success was hit and miss. There was, I think, a really good rock and roll comic at one point. But got cancelled due to low sales. Eventually, the Vertigo imprint itself got cancelled and its more successful titles were, if I am not mistaken, folded into the DC Black Label. And most recently, I think, DC brought back the Vertigo imprint for - Honestly, I don't remember the reason. But the point is it's back. Whether or not it will find the same success again, remains to be seen.
Still, if comic book readers are tired of the typical Marvel and DC fare, there is always Image comics - Here, quality varies because Image Comics is where indie comic book authors go to produce their work. And back when I was still following comics monthly, Image was the go-to-publisher for quality work by Ed Brubaker, Jonathan Hickman and countless others.
They would have to actually hire new people who know how to bridge that cultural gap, not just superficially copy it.
