What would have happened if Germany didn't lose East Prussia, Silesia and Pomerania after WW2?
Would Germany become even more powerful than now? Would the east and west partition still happened? But 100% they will make them lose only the polish majority areas of those lost lands and a bit of German majority Pomeranian coast.

Nothing much would change. Neither the Allies nor the Soviets would let Nazi Germany have a resurgence, thus would occupy the lands there. Borders would just be drawn different.

There'd be less Wolfenstein games, idk

Konigsberg University would become the best college in the world and it would definitely be a touristic powerhouse

For Germany it like if Peru lost Cusco

No difference. The world was FUBAR after Germany lost the war. Enjoy.

Rumors are that the iron curtain had good influence on Germany´s wealth. Because after it fell we got a low wage problem, as you couldn´t source out the cheap work behind it any more. The number of unemployed people and low wage workers ten or fifteen years after it - was equal to the amount of adult eastern German people. Like they produced stuff which we bough for cheap before, while we weren´t confronted with the cheap labor, as it was behind the curtain - far away so to speak. And obviously the eastern European workers wouldn´t come to Germany to wok for cheap as well - and neither could the western companies.

So basically the eastern block wanted to isolate itself for whatever reason - but it was only in our favor. We got rich, they got poor. Now we have to settle this within the country, which many people don´t like very much...

Couldn´t have happened in that scale when You instead not only having eastern Germany, also had the mentioned parts - and it wasn´t the West who built said curtain.

It wouldn't have mattered one bit. Germany was sliced up between UK, France, USA and Russia, there was nothing that could be done for Germany post-WW2.

Toast.

Russia and Germany were allied and Germany became greedy.

Russia was already promised east prussia by Germany.

History would never happened since Germany can only win by not betray Russia.

When Russia decided to be on the good side USA pumped into the Russia army supplies to defeat Germany.

While Germany was collecting west Prussia, Russia was collecting east Prussia and Germany was on purpose avoiding Russia by invading Denmark, Sweden and Norway.

They were coworking to take west and east prussia.

I don't know who betrayed whom first but Germany would never owned East Prussia as it was already promised to Sovjet.

Germany would until the very end occupy Norway no regard of what was happening in the war, it was now claimed land and Germany had no intention to give it back.

You're basically asking what would happen if Germany didn't lose WW2?

We wouldn't have comedy, for starters.

I actually don´t think it worked very bad for Germany after WW2. We´re there third biggest economy in the world, nobody does more exports, we´re among the richest countries in the world - like how better could it be? Of course people complain when the economy doesn´t grow, or doesn´t grow as fast - but i don´t think it can be a huge problem, when there´s only China and the US which have a bigger economy. Like it wouldn´t happen that we get bigger than them - and most likely we would lose the place to India in the near future.

Downside: we´re also around the worst country in the EU if it´s about wealth distribution among the population. But that´s only a downside for half of the people. Hail capitalism. It only went south one time with the Nazi thing - certainly won´t happen again, as they´re only the second strongest party, and the others say that they would never do a coalition with them. And politicians are the most trustworthy people, aren´t they? Like if they say something - it´s like it´s set in stone. They´re people of honor, who value - values and traditions, but our traditions can´t be Nazi traditions, as these people somehow all disappeared in 1945, and certainly weren´t the ones who built all the institutions and set the initial connections, which may or may not be part of the problem of the wealth distribution.

German in general aren´t interested in power or money. Those are worldly needs. We´re thinkers and poets. Harmless people - or as said in like 1840 or something, when it was still the HRE with the many small parts: we will conquer the world - but not with the sword, as Germans aren´t people of action. We will do it with our ideas, art, and culture. And that statement aged like a really good and fine wine. In general unification things aren´t very good for the German soul - they tend to be a bit megalomaniac after it, and forget about their traditions, to replace them with new ones - while they still advertise the old ones, but sadly they don´t know about them any more. It´s even more sad when progressive leftists have to remind them about the traditions - that should, traditionally, be the core competence of the right wing. Like: it feels wrong.
