Best Energy Drink for Gaming
Hey everyone,

I’ve been experimenting with energy drinks to keep me focused during my gaming sessions after work. I usually game for about 3 hours a day, mostly sitting down. Likewise, I’ve tried both Red Bull and Monster Energy before. While they helped, the caffeine levels felt a bit hit or miss depending on the day.

I’m looking for something reliable that can give me the best focus and energy without making me crash. Also, I’d prefer something not too heavy on sugar.
  • What energy drink do you recommend for gaming sessions of this length?

  • Have any of you found something that works particularly well after a long day of work?

What works the best for me is.. Coffee. Espresso.
That's about the best kind of drink I can recommend, one you must be familiar with already.

Other than coffee.. About anything that's having tonsa sugar or calories, really.
That includes Pepsi, Coca Cola, RC Cola.. You do name it.
Buut, those do only work for rather short durations. In my experiences, the effect of the coke doesn't usually last for longer than about an hour, and I do gotta have more than one glass. I need about one third of the bottle, so around ~500 ml to feel the difference.

As for energy drinks.. I don't drink those and definitely don't recommend those.
Though, if I were to go for energy drink, it'd be no other than Crazy Wolf. Whether that's gonna work for gaming sessions, I wouldn't know. I only ever had some when I needed to stay awake.

I like lucozade pink lemonade or redbull
they're not really good for you but so are most things
they're ineffective for me so I don't get any effects uwu
It seems like you enjoy those drinks, even though they don't give you the intended effects. It's interesting how the body can adapt over time, reducing sensitivity to them.
Some people (about half) have a copy of the gene that's responsible for metabolising caffeine. So the effects can have a very varied impact on individuals

Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts and experiences! I really appreciate the detailed insights into what works best for you, especially with coffee and sodas. It’s interesting to hear your perspective on energy drinks. Your input is really helpful, and it’s great to learn from others’ experiences.

That sounds like a delicious and refreshing twist on a classic espresso. Do you prefer it more on the strong or smooth side?
Strong, with brown sugarcane demerara sugar, mixed in!

I really love orange juice because of its numerous health benefits, and I make sure to have it every day. The vitamin C and antioxidants it provides are great for my immune system. However, it doesn't really give me the energy boost I need. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this, It's always interesting to hear different perspectives.

That’s an interesting combination, I can see how coffee would be a great pick during the day to stay alert, and having beer after dinner can be a relaxing way to wind down.

Everyone has their own routine, and it’s nice to hear what works for you. Thanks for sharing.

Eh, it's less about learning anything and more of trying out what works best for you.

What shall be noted is that coke is containing so much sugar and calories that you gotta do something to burn it all, otherwise you're gonna gain fat in no time.
It is that unhealthy and requires a daily burning of calories, higher than usually.. Unless, it's done once in a while, of course.

My perspective for energy drinks is overwhelmingly positive, if drunk once in a while.
I'm well aware that taurine and other stuff within it are outright unhealthy for the organism, but it should be OK to have some each week.
I'd definitely advise against drinking the entire 1 l bottle in one day. That's a bit too much for the body to handle.

Now, for coffee.. Despite it keeping me awake until the caffeine wears itself out, usually lasting few hours dependable on the amount, how strong the coffee was, and other factors outside the drink like what have I been doing during the day, it can last for over ten hours, or be gone in five, just as easily.

I also forgot to mention, coffee on its own doesn't work so well for me.
If I need it to work even better, then I need some tea with it.

G-Fuel changed my life.
I’ve heard a lot about G Fuel since its release and up until now, but I think I should do more research on it before trying it out.

I appreciate you sharing your experience with it, it’s definitely something I’ll look into more. Thanks again.

in terms of taste? White Monster imo

in terms of health? Probably be best off with a tea or a coffee. Even water can give you a boost if your body lacks it
