I Suggest Giving Your Kid A Math Book And Pay Them For Right Answers
I was thinking maybe 1 cent per answer with a calculator and a nickel per answer without a calculator.

Most math books have the answers in the back, you should cut the answers out with scissors and keep it for yourself to review which answers your kid got right.

The order in which you're suppose to learn math is:

Pre-Algebra
Algebra 1
Geometry
Algebra 2
Trigonometry
Calculus

I think if my parents did this for me i would be a math wiz.

Below are workbooks for every math level:

There is no such thing as a "one-size-fits-all" answer -- this, like every other "parenting method" out there, can (easily) backfire depending of your kids mental conditions, behavior, etc.

I don't see how paying them for right answers would "Backfire"...

What's the worst that can happen?

Anyone going to try this with their kid?

I don't have any kids but I think I'll try this if I did have kids.
I've heard it said that math isn't taught because everyone will need it later, but because it teaches analytical thinking - problem solving - that can be applied to many other of life's challenges.

They start expecting you to pay them whenever you want them to do something.

They can decide they don't want to do it if they think you aren't paying them enough.
Or get them hooked on math edutainment games.

I was rewarded for getting high rank in Super Solveres Outnumbered! with a Super Soaker. Win-win, situation.

Though I've always been lousy at most math except spacial stuff that's easy to visualize like trig and the discrete branches, and computer stuff dealing with multiples of 8. I still use a cheat sheet for remembering the Ethernet wire color sequences and subnetting.

Are any of the later Math Blaster games any good?

I only played The Search for Spot, and it was annoyingly impossible to loose. ♥♥♥♥♥ stuff.

I really wish Troggle Trouble Math was easier to run, but it always runs too fast, no matter what emulated CPU rate is set.
Not my kids math books.

Not my kids math books.

Your kid's math books don't have the answers on the back?
Responsible parents don't buy from an ecocidal, anticompetitive megacorporation.

You are just farming clicks for your own gain.

It's never too late to learn.:magic_wand::stars:

If I was rich I would give my child $1 per right answer.

I suggest teaching your kid how to trade on the stock market. Sure as ♥♥♥♥ is more helpful than math. Pointless waste of time to get 8s and 9s. Should have slacked off to just pass with a 5 and played more World of Warcraft. Math didn't help me one bit in life. Probably never will.

Ye, that's one of my childhood regrets. Didn't play enough World of Warcraft. Did too much math.
Because maths isn't used in finance and trading stocks lol.

How will you understand what Einstein meant when talking about the 8th Wonder of the World?
math leads to atomic weapons
