Fair point, but what's "gnc" and what do you think about limits. Humans and well anything alive do have limits (be it for better or for worse, since everyone has their personal bias) and those are there for a reason, some are physical law limits others ethical and moral or lawful limits.

"gnc" in this context stands for "gender non-conforming"

the question now is, why exactly should we limit whether or not people can leave the confines of gender norms? are there actual reasons, or is it just a matter of asserting there may be reasons without ever wondering what those are?

It's not about whenever or not "we" limit people in regards to gender norms. But rather why those limits helped humanity in the ruthless and very inhumane path of the evolution ladder, against all odds and many type of calamities.

With that being said, you do bring a very good point. Limits whenever or not self - imposed by each local human society culture, ethics, morals, religion, etc. or the natural environment (for example Smallpox did limit us humans for a very long time), humanity WILL sooner or later find a way to surpass it, survive it, adapt to it, use it for benign purposes, or as sadly in many cases weaponize it, etc.

In regards to weaponization of femboys, well they're being preyed upon (highly likely also exploited) by many folks across the internet, so they're a dehumanized target for the weaponization of ideas (in this case would be the objectification / fetishization).
