Should I buy a PS4 for upcoming games coming out as shown at E3 2015 or should I just save my money and stick with my Wii U and buy games on there (as well as 3DS and DS)

I would guess it would all depend on titles. I don't buy a console for loyalty or specs, I buy it for the games I want. I bought a 360 over PS3 because the exclusives were better for what I wanted. I went playstation because PSX and PS2 were the better gaming environments.

I am largely PC now, because I like the environment and the exclusives are less attractive.

Go where the games will make you happy, forget all the rest.

I built my own rig because it would be cheaper in the long run. I was right. After initially building a gaming rig(most expensive part) every couple of years you switch out old parts for newer better ones. That means I don't need to shell out $500 to buy a new console. Which doesn't include extra controllers(~$60) and games($60). I also don't need to pay a subscription in order to play online (like srsly). I already pay for the internet connection and $60 for the damn game. Now you want me to cough over another $20 a month in order to play online!?

Also with Steam and its sales, I can buy a $60 console game for $30-$40(dep.

Then comes the part where I can browse the web and do other things which quite frankly sucks on consoles.

We can also use controllers for any game if we so wish, not just games that say they're compatible with them.

This doesn't mean consoles are useless or anything. It just means I prefer my pc compared to consoles which are using dated parts and missing the functionality that comes with an actual pc.

For what reason? As long as you legally own the game(and console?), then it is technically legal to emulate it on the computer.

You can't emulate a PS4. You sure can emulate like an NES or SNES, though. Although, it isn't as good as playing it on the real system.

Sony just announced a Ratchet and Clank remake on PS4.... I am certainly buying a PS4 no matter what at this point. My friends tell me to build a gaming PC, but I am not interested in that.

They also have more indie games, ( I think ) Little Big Planet, God Of War, and Uncharted.
