Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate Discussions - Also looking for Online Buddy

Hello, I'm looking for someone to play Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate with. It is not a steam game, it is in fact a 3DS game. Of course, if you are viewing this post, you should already know what it is. I have recently finished all i can in the offline section of the game, and am now looking for someone to play online with. I am hr2, so i havent really done anything online yet, but I consider myself fairly decent at the game. This is not the first Monster Hunter game i have owned, I also play MHFU and MH3Tri. None of my friends that i currently play games with have a 3DS, and they might never get one, so they cant play with me.

What exactly are you going to be asking? How far in the game I see myself being in five years?

The questions that will be asked are simple ones, such as how far you currently are in the game. This is just so i can get to known how far along you are, and if you are new to monster hunter or not. And as for five years, im sure i will be playing another New Monster Hunter game by then!

Hmm out of curiosity. You don't by any Chance have some Blue Yian, or Ruby Basarios Guild Quest with the Chance of Treasure from the Original series have you?
Since i wanted to get myself the Rathian-Relic armor and it's rather.. Well not that Hard but still takes some grinding to get these quest compositions.

Awh that's too bad. Well then i need to grind me some subspecies everwood quests myself :s
Because Gunner Rathian and Kehzu Relic armors really do look nice.

I have High Rank Seregios armor, but I could not find much better from only the caravan quests.

The Best stuff is probably the G Level relic stuff you get from Level 140 everwood guild-quest onwards... But that is grinding like crazy. I just wanna have my usual Gunner armor and I am good. Since these armors also come with an alternated Kind of style. And random highlevel skills.. But to get matching armor skills on all the relic armor Parts is even more grinding.

Well i am not using high-rank armor atm since i am still good with my low Level but upgraded Rathian and khezu armors. At least till i get to the next hr 6 where i will get Red khezu and probably Pink Rathian ones.

cool beans, I have been rockin my Seregios Armor for the longest time, and have not found a replacement for it. I also tend to use my Aslat Charger+ all the time. (Seregios Charge Blade)

Yeah i know about the weapons and such.
Well i mostly use Rathian and Kehzu since that are the original MH Gunner armora for me since Monster Hunter Freedom so i kept using the troughout the whole series.
for weapons i like to have one Light bowgun with rapidfire for each of the Elements and the crag ammo. And the Rathian Heavy bowgun because i just love the variety i got with it. Gonna Upgrade the full path once i get my hands on that rat-ruby and the Gold Pink and probably some azure and silver rath Parts.

It's easy to tell that you are a fan of anything Rathian. I pretty much only use Charge Blades in MH4U, but in previous games, i used Longsword, Dual Blades, Great Swords, and SnS. I have really started to limit myself in this game to just 1 weapon type, and 1 armor set at any given time.

Yeah whenever i feel the urge to Play melee or started a new game and am at the beginning, i go for longsword or dualblades mostly. Since i am pretty good with it and the speed and damage is alright.
But usually i go for bowguns later because i like it how i am able to adapt to Most situations during a quest easily. Like needing to change the Element for another Monster or paralyzing it poisoning it and such.
And Indeed going for one weapon Type is mostly the Best since you get used to it and become well an 'expert' with it.

Hahhaa yeah i liked the Rathian armor since the Cinematic Videos for the first Monster Hunter games. Where the Gunner cleans his weapon and Puts on the Rathian armor after it. Just feels like the one true Gunner equip to me xD

So is this just a MH4U discussion thread, 'cause if that's the case I'm in. A friend and I are looking for a consistant third and fourth for it but we are Australian, don't use Skype (although that could change) and are both G rank (he is rank 50 or so and I am rank 140 or so). I use anything, mainly IG, LBG, GS, HH, DB, SnS, HBG, GL, Bows and LS, my friend sticks to SnS...

Well i would be up to Play some MH later maybe but not really that eager to install Skype for it. I just started the Guild-quests a few days ago so i have nothing against doing some low rank quests to help increase the hr. That just on a side Note since i haven't really said anything ay bout that since We started to talk about MH. ^^
