Is Cisgender Label Needed?
I wonder since if are all women or men why there is the need for a cisgender label? I've come across people who have transitioned that don't like to be labelled as trans but also advise others to identify as cis, I just wonder if that is necessary if we are all should be seen as the same
not intending to upset and I know this is OT but try not to fight about it please i just ask out of clarification uwu

It is disrespectful and a slur to call a straight person by that name. It is no different from calling a person a n-word. If you have questions regarding gender, use the word straight or hetrosexual. That would be more respectful. Thank you.
stopped at gender
Too much "labeling" just divides & discriminates more.

There is really ONLY Human.

"Cisgender" is not the same as calling someone the n-word.

Cisgender does not refer to someone's sexual preference.

not needed, but generally is used to avoid confusion for those who do not understand.

Cisgender has nothing to do with sexual partner though. There's cisgender gay men.

Disinformation

Idc, it is a slur, no different from offending other race such as n-word.

It isn't even near that. It isn't derogatory and doesn't have near the history of the n-word.

It is meant to be offensive to straight person. As stated above no different from calling a black person a n-word. Both are equally offensive.

It's no more "offensive" than calling someone straight.
Probably because they don't like terms like "real women".

Every race has been enslaved, nearly all cultures genocided and yet only 1 race and 1 denomination, or cult of people still continue it like badges of honour, it's almost like they want it again?
Maybe that's because of the decades of mistreatment and discrimination afterwards.

aye, it is not really a thing for peoples who are normal. but for those who care about a CLEAR definition between cis and trans, it exists. and also because cis or trans women/men sometimes experience different issues.
