Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has directed the military to pause integrating new transgender recruits and suspend planned medical procedures meant to treat current service members diagnosed with gender dysphoria in compliance with an executive order signed by President Trump that effectively bans trans military service.

Of course they would. Can't kick them out because of the lawsuit so they're forcing trans soldiers to leave on their own.

I remember reading an article some years ago where US military personnels told that trans troopers are performing just fine in there.

I mean are there actual studies done which show trans troopers severely underperforming compared to regular troops?

Don't like it one bit. Oftentimes throughout history, minorities have used their wartime service and duties as a strong argument for equal treatment. Why remove that possibility, I wonder.

Another suit Trump would likely lose. "Future" members yes, and to not be "deployed" yes.

But current members who signed contracts with the United States Military in good standing would likely win, that suit, as all the others Trump seems to be losing.

I'm not even for women in the military. But if they signed contracts, they need to be honored.

The military does not honor it's contracts with it's personnel, they laugh at you when you bring up the fact that you have a signed contract with them.

I don't think most of the worlds' militaries allow soldiers with such blatant mental illness, so this is just the US returning to common sense.
