It's like consumables in a video game. You keep saving them in case you need them, but you never do and then you finish the game with a pharmacy worth of stuff.

Everything has a saturation point. I'm surprised how quickly Squishmallows lost its lustre to be honest. It started in Japan became a trend in America and for a short time could not stay on store shelves for more than a few hours a day. Now they just sit. I think American companies misunderstood the appeal of those things for the Japanese. They didn't saturate their market with anime and manga characters in Squishmallow form the way they do in North America. true. and as costs of living rise, people will be having less income to spend on greedy purchases, whether pokemon cards or plushy cats. makes me wonder what these makers of this collectible garbage will do when people can no longer afford to buy this ♥♥♥♥ at all. will they just stopping making it? lower prices?

if i ever had to choose between pokemon cards and living costs, i would throw the cards in the bin in a heartbeat.

Frankly I wouldn't be sad if either HASBRO or Mattel went out of business. They haven't done anything new in decades and they are monopolies which bought up all the innovative toy companies to end innovation.
These days I only support companies like Bandai Japan, Tamiya, AOSHIMA, Hasegawa, Kotobukiya, MENG etc.

i have not bought any anime figures and such from those companies in quite awhile (because i primarily collect berserk/from software figures and statues) but i understand. these hobbies are too expensive now to be spreading yourself thin, so to speak. most peoples can no longer afford to just buy everything from everyone any longer. so we must be choosey, select only the ones of the highest qualities

If you examine things, you will see that most people vote for politicians that they think will benefit them the most. Somehow they bend facts to meed their needs. YES, people are extremely greedy and selfish.
