It's like consumables in a video game. You keep saving them in case you need them, but you never do and then you finish the game with a pharmacy worth of stuff.
Frankly I wouldn't be sad if either HASBRO or Mattel went out of business. They haven't done anything new in decades and they are monopolies which bought up all the innovative toy companies to end innovation.
These days I only support companies like Bandai Japan, Tamiya, AOSHIMA, Hasegawa, Kotobukiya, MENG etc.
i have not bought any anime figures and such from those companies in quite awhile (because i primarily collect berserk/from software figures and statues) but i understand. these hobbies are too expensive now to be spreading yourself thin, so to speak. most peoples can no longer afford to just buy everything from everyone any longer. so we must be choosey, select only the ones of the highest qualities
