Studio is already walking dead.
Some kind of blackmail involved?
No one does that willingly.
They never learn, do they.
Wait a minute.. I play Indie games!
"It just wasn't inclusive enough , sir"
Ghost of Yotei? Meh. I still have Ghost of Tsushima to get through, among other games, and for upcoming titles there's this:

And Halo, that's less my cup of tea anyway. I already have the MCC, and I'm not particularly interested in Infinite. I have a wealth of singleplayer FPS games in my backlog, and there are a ton of new boomer shooters I have to look forward to that are more my speed than Halo. I'm sure I'll enjoy Doom: Dark Ages too.
It's been amazing seeing the nuanced excuses that are applied to every individual woke failure rather than admitting the real problem.
"It's a saturated market for live service games"
"The single-player RPG space is very competitive"
"The game was great, but it just didn't resonate with fans"
"The game was sabotaged by Youtube haters and alt-right grifters"
"We released the game at a very crowded time of year"
"We thought the story would have really captured the modern audiences"
I've actually been making good money shorting companies anytime it's clear one of these DEI-riddled games is going to be a failure. The media doesn't report on this accurately to the investment community, so it's a total advantage for all of us who know exactly which games are going to fail and why. It's honestly astounding how predictable this is now.
