Homemade Big Mac Recipe

Ingredients
For the Special Sauce:

½ cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons French dressing (or Thousand Island dressing)
1 tablespoon sweet pickle relish
1 teaspoon white vinegar
1 teaspoon sugar
¼ teaspoon onion powder
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ teaspoon paprika
For the Beef Patties:

1 lb (450g) ground beef (preferably 80/20 lean-to-fat ratio)
Salt and black pepper, to taste
½ teaspoon onion powder (optional)
½ teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
For the Burger Assembly:

3 sesame seed burger buns (for two Big Macs)
2 extra bottom burger buns (or use middle slices from extra buns)
4 slices of American cheese
½ cup shredded iceberg lettuce
¼ cup finely diced white onion
8 dill pickle slices
Instructions

Step 1: Make the Special Sauce
In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, French dressing, sweet pickle relish, white vinegar, sugar, onion powder, garlic powder, and paprika.
Stir until smooth and well combined.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to blend.
Step 2: Prepare the Beef Patties
Divide the ground beef into four equal portions (each about 2 oz or 55g).
Roll each portion into a ball, then flatten into thin patties about 4 inches (10 cm) in diameter. They should be slightly wider than your buns since they shrink when cooked.
Season each patty lightly with salt, black pepper, and optionally onion and garlic powder.
Place the patties on a sheet of parchment paper and refrigerate them while you prepare the other ingredients.
Step 3: Prepare the Burger Buns
Toast the buns: Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat. Lightly butter the cut sides of the buns and toast them until golden brown.
Set aside.
Step 4: Cook the Beef Patties
Heat a cast iron skillet or nonstick pan over medium-high heat.
Cook each patty for 2 minutes on one side without moving them.
Flip and cook for 1-2 more minutes until browned and fully cooked.
Remove from heat and let them rest while you assemble the burgers.
Step 5: Assemble the Big Mac
Bottom bun: Spread 1 tablespoon of special sauce on the bottom bun.
Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of diced onions over the sauce.
Add a small handful of shredded lettuce over the onions.
Place one beef patty on top.
Add one slice of American cheese (optional, since original Big Mac has only one cheese slice).
Middle bun (club bun): Place the extra bottom bun or middle bun layer on top.
Spread another tablespoon of sauce on this layer.
Add diced onions, shredded lettuce, and pickles (2-3 slices).
Place the second beef patty on top.
Top bun: Finally, place the top sesame seed bun over everything.
Step 6: Serve and Enjoy!
Serve immediately with French fries and a soft drink for the full Big Mac experience!
If you like, you can wrap the burger in parchment paper for 5 minutes to let the flavors meld, just like at McDonald's.
Extra Tips

✅ Use thin patties: Big Mac patties are thin and wide, so flatten them well before cooking.
✅ Chill the sauce: Letting the sauce rest in the fridge improves its flavor.
✅ Shred the lettuce finely: This makes the burger feel more like a real Big Mac.
✅ Toasting the buns: Helps prevent sogginess.
✅ Double-check the stacking order: The Big Mac has two patties, three bun layers, and one cheese slice on the bottom patty.

Now you have a detailed homemade Big Mac recipe that’s as close to the real thing as possible!

Pink slime is the main ingredient in a bic mac.
Just use the burger sauce sold in markets. They are the same recipe and taste.

and don't forget to add all the toxic additives like synth-preservatives, processed seed(canola) oils, artificial flavors, etc.. :TheFall:

Great, now McDonalds is going to go out of business. I hope you're happy!
something that i didnʻt know i needed
how do they make McDonald's version of Coke? it tastes different from normal coke.
at least when I make it at home, I know that I won't throw up from some dirty little turd tainting my burger with poopy hands 💩

i have heard this before too and i am thinking perhaps it is being an example of "the mandela effect"

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/False_memory#Mandela_effect

while it is being possible i guess that mcdonalds genuinely has some difference in their coke flavour and ingredients and such, my heart tells me it is probably just "in our heads" for these types of things.

It's a special blend only made for McDonalds, also McDonalds straws are wider which allows the drink to hit more of your taste buds at once.
