How do you use your turn signal?

Do you use it whenever you need to turn, even if it's obvious (because you're in a turn-only lane)? Only if you're changing lanes? Never, don't get mad at me because you're not observant enough to know when I need to switch lanes?

i use them properly to indicate lane changes and turns BEFORE i do them

I always use them, even in turning lanes so that other drivers see I'm doing the right thing. If I don't use it you have no way of telling if I'm going to turn or if I'm an idiot in the wrong lane who's going to go straight.

When you're going to change lanes, when you have an intersection, or if you're entering into the moving lane if you've made an emergency stop before that. There are unwritten rules, but I don't know how it is everywhere.

It helps others to use it. But on highways its against the law to not use it.

My turn signal is glaring at motorists trying to cut me off while I cross the street. Because I walk faster than they can turn. Hell if I really wanted to I could chase the particularly rude ones. I mean, I once chased an ice cream truck for over six blocks. And I was twice the weight then than I am now.

In the end I got that ♥♥♥♥♥♥' It's-It and the driver got to question the nature of reality.

Regardless, I don't know which I hate more - contemptible motorists who insist upon ignoring the right of way pedestrians have, or cyclists who insist upon ignoring the fact that they've been given bike lanes to use so they don't mow over pedestrians or their pets.
