How many dog to defeat one tiger?
A pack of 30–40 dholes, or Asian wild dogs, can kill a tiger in around five minutes.
AI Overview

So one tiger is about 20-30 times stronger than the dog.

1 Goose > 2 Tigers, so simply convert dog to Goose as a common denominator
Seems like you answered your own question. Lets lock/delete this before people get weird ideas as if you asked a question or needed help with something.
i do not think it would take that many. lions are powerful animals, but young/lone male lions are sometimes preyed upon by packs of wild dogs and hyenas.

it is just that it is usually not being worth it, as a predator. the lion is absolutely not going to be going down easy, and will likely kill or seriously wound several of them. animals are usually being quite good at risk assessment for this, and will only attempt preying upon dangerous prey if they are quite hungry.

but it is easier to prey upon young, or prey animals if they can catch them. so smaller predators would not risk preying upon a lion if easier prey is available.
One Chihuahua is enough to kill 10 tigers, those things are the devil himself
That goes to show it doesn't matter how powerful or big you are, in the end, it's all about the numbers.

and strategy. for larger prey like lions, pack animals like dogs/hyenas will often attempt to exhaust their prey before striking. chasing them and stressing them out for sometimes hours on end, before they feel that the prey is sufficiently exhausted enough that they will not being able to fight back as well. nature can be disturbing.
