yes i think it is being one of those careers that has a lot of actual professionals, but also a lot of "gurus" who just espouse a lot of nonsense. the ones who most likely assist are singing coaches and medical rehabilitation coaches for people who have had throat/mouth issues that have altered their voices.

really, hah? i have seen the film fargo. i am not familiar with too many us states beyond the ones everyone knows like new york, california and texas, but that is still interesting to learn! that the accents of the film were not native to the setting.

Speak from the diaphragm. Maintain proper hydration while avoiding carbonated beverages. Remember to rest your vocal cords every so often. If you're wanting to pick up falsettos and/or singing it helps to listen to a wide breadth of music and also take good care of your hearing.

Use different parts of your chest when speaking, that can change the tone. Not talking through your nose will help. Sometimes just talking slower will assist you.
