how to get someone banned on discord

im trying to sabotage him so i can get him out of my life. discord wont do anything despite him saying every slur in the book, saying criminal things, doing criminal things, doxing people, and harassing people.

1. They did something bad and the admins saw it and did something
2. Luring someone into a ban(successful or not) would be incredibly obvious to anyone with the transcript. You risk the same fate, AND they could go unpunished.

discord must have a block feature, if he is in a group with you tell him he is no longer welcome or tell the owner what he is doing and they can remove them

If they really were "doxing people", discord typically bans people for doing that as the user becomes a liability.
Trying to lure someone into it, will likely get you hit only. They're either doing something worth a ban, or they aren't.

And if you insist on keeping it open- I know for a fact Discord has a block feature.

Seems like you enjoy this dance as much as them and wish to add in your own toxicity.

similar to how the mgsv forums are cruising for a community ban if you post.

kinda impossible to use the frikkin internet at this point.

There are places it's cool to post- but many game sub forums are headed by reddit-tier mods that abuse the tiny amount of power they have.

This has always been the case but it just gets worse as the internet dies.

I mod three large discords. I just don't ban people. It would take a lot to make me ban you unless you're an obvious bot. Like a lot.

And you simply can't get someone to that point. It would entirely be on them to reach the point that I'd ban them.

People are allowed to have bad days.
People are allowed to have their opinions.
People are allowed to argue.

I might just move them somewhere else to have it out though.

Or delete the entire thing as it's happening so they get frustrated and stop.

Social media has lowered moderation, wait for the incoming massive censorship wave that'll inevitably come.

This is a wise position, unfortunately there are so many narcissistic people in small communities, sometimes you feel like you are walking on eggshells, even when you know you have done nothing wrong, someone can accuse you of sexual harassment. And it would be funny if it weren't so sad.
