Regarding Ubisoft.
I heard that they seem to be shutting down... soon.

What will happen to our games?

I haven't played some of their games within my library yet; will they be "saved" by another corporation or will they go down together with their games and servers?

Who cares. Ubisoft haven't put out a decent game for over a decade now.

Ubisoft is not shutting down. They have plenty of good IPs to squeeze more money from.
Anything requiring Uplay will likely die, even if the IP is sold. Reason #486831441 why that service is absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
Servers go down, Uplay and Denuvo fails to authenticate, and we lose our games. Simple. It happened a bazillion times before. Try playing any GFWL or Securom game without modification.

Look what happened with The Crew. Ubisoft just decided that people who owned the game would just no longer be able to play it. No refund even offered, and no recourse because it required garbage Uplay to authenticate.

Once the layoffs happen and there is no money to maintain the servers, this will happen to every game. And you can be assured none of these soon-to-be unemployed developers will be working on patches to bypass Uplay. The consumers are just going to be screwed and lose their games if they need that service to run.

Well, ♥♥♥♥... I still wanted to play Valhalla. 😆
Meh the ac saga can be played offline so as long as you dont play online only stuff like the division and such, you will be fine.
It won't shut down, worst case scenario some company would buy it. Probably Microsoft or Tencent.

I don't think they are shutting down. Remember Konami is still around and Konami are the worst. They don't care about video games or bankruptcy and spite us all with their continued existence.

Shame we'll never get another Rayman game like the first from 1995, dam that game is now 30 years old, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
