I'd be tempted to feel the same, There's just no evidence to suggest otherwise, my beliefs are just from one experience.
yes indeed. i grew up in a secular household, in a secular country. we are products of our environment, so to speak. there is nothing wrong with being either atheist or theist, as long as you are respectful of others beliefs.

i see. i am sorry that you had to endure such hardships in life, and it has left you confused on certain things. but despite this, you are a very strong person for finding your own way amid the darkness.
I'd be happy with a sea of souls type of post-life experience, where we all may meet our ancestors and those we knew in life.
Who knows? Alan Watts compared death to the experience (or rather the lack of conscious awareness) that we all had before being born.
Death is as much a part of life as life is to death.
But in my old age I may change my mind. Fear of death can do a lot of things.
