You had an Ubisoft account?
They better not. If they go under, they better assure, servers or not we KEEP our games.

I have just read that they are in the crapper and may be going bust in 2025. I didn't understand the content of the email.

I might have I can't remember and I have no idea how to find out.
Install a game you own on Steam and see if it runs. They claimed in the past that as long as you have games bought on Steam, they would not close your account. I haven't heard of any policy changes since then.

What has happened to Ubisoft?
In January 2025, Ubisoft closed the Ubisoft Leamington studio and downsized several other studios, resulting in up to 185 staff being laid off as part of ongoing cost-cutting measures.

I have found my account .exe after a PC search and tried to log in.

It then sends me a verification code in which I paste into the box.

Now i have a spinning widget thingy that just keeps spinning... :-/

I am trying to login to my account to find out what games I own..
I've got like 2 games that needs their launcher. They can close it for what I care.

Just to add: I found an Ubisoft icon in my taskbar and I opened it and there was a new logged-in icon. I closed the box with spinning thingy.

I have 2 far Cry games and Watchdogs 1&2 which I'd like to keep but wouldn't matter I had to lose.

In fact this attitude makes me want to just dump the whole launcher and what works works. F'em.
They've been closing "inactive[www.tomsguide.com]" accounts for years.

Funny thing is, after the initial outrage I just accepted it and haven't logged in for like two years. All those games were free and they were all mediocre anyway.

Despite all the talk about woke that, and DEI this, the account erasure debacle was the moment I realized Ubisoft was rotten to the core and needed to be destroyed. For whatever reason, it took a couple of years for the general public to catch on.

That is dated July 23. Interesting info though :-)

But I no longer care I have enough to concern with my personal self.

Ubi launcher uninstalled and if my steam-ubi games stop working then who cares.
