yalls ever just on google or bing and you go to images and its just full of ai generated slop? It really feels like its everywhere. When i want to have diffrent types of fun, its there, when im watching a video, its there. when i want to upscale my games, its there. It always has a certain look to it, and that makes it never match the real passion and effort that a real human being puts into art, game development and video editing.

I asked “Is pizza technically a pie” and AI says yes because pie in Italian is pizza but another source says pie doesn’t mean pizza in Italian.

A.I. can't create things, and I want to explain it.

Years 2000-2010, For editing videos, images, and sounds, we had software like Corel Draw, Adobe Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects, and FL Studio. Therefore, only professional editors and expert designers could edit media files. If you were a non-designer like me who captured a photo by yourself and needed to edit it, you should send that picture to your friend or a photographer to edit it for you.

After smartphones were created, applications such as Canva, InShot, PicsArt, etc. have been made. This time these applications allowed non-expert designers to be able to edit and filter their photos easily without needing to be designers, or some other apps allow non-musicians to create the songs they like.

Now, A.I. is coming one step ahead; it allows non-experts to edit and modify the media files based on what they want with typing some words, like, "I want a photo of Keanu Reeves walking into the moon." Still, it doesn't mean A.I. did something that humans can't. A Photoshop designer can do the same and crop Keanu Reeves to replace him on the moon background.

These mobile applications and A.I. increase the accessibility for everyone and non-experts, but the question is, do these tools make everyone editors or musicians?? No, just because you can edit a photo with a mobile application or A.I. doesn't mean you are an editor or musician. These things are just some fast-food-style tools, but still you are not an expert. Since I have zero talent in designing and painting, let me explain another example in my own specialty:

WordPress and Joomla allow people to create their own websites without programming skills, but is that enough? I say no. You know what the difference is? If you are a high-skill web developer, you can check your codes yourself and check their condition and security, but as a WordPress owner, if any security hole is found in your website and a hacker treats your website, you are totally helpless with defending your website because you can't modify the codes and don't have the knowledge. So, either you have to wait for a security engineer or programmer to check that or wait for WordPress to release an update or change your WordPress theme or add another add-on.

This is the difference between working on something as an expert or a non-expert.
