Suggest games about british soldiers/special ops/spies, please (no SAS, they're separate niche now)
Examples i remember:
- All James Bond games;
- Killing Floor 1;
- Fight In Tight Spaces (only very lightly implied they are british, not clearly stated).

SAS are cool, but after remembering some anti-terrorist operation games, CoD series, Counter Strike series i realised that games where SAS participate are not quite what i search for.

I will list examples from comments here:

Perfect Dark
No One Lives Forever
NOLF, or the full name "the operative: no one lives forever". and its sequel, NOLF 2: a spy in harms way.

these games are all about spies, and the main protagonists and organisation is british

maneiro.
Blake Stone was former SAS before becoming Intelligence operative. Does that count?

A classic that is often forgotten, since it had the misfortune of being released around the same time as Doom. They took the Wolfenstein engine and pushed the boundaries of it's capabilities.

conker and rare (the company) are both british yes, and while there are elements of spies and warfare it is not really being of such a genre overall. great game though, hilarious and fun
Updated the post to make it more clear regular soldiers are allowed too, secret operations are not mandatory.

commandos: behind enemy lines?
Company of Heroes and its expansions - strong story/narratives driving the RTS campaigns.
Empire Total War - Mainly generic line infantry, but has a couple of historic named regiments available.

Crysis Warhead

first-person sci-fi shooter

The protagonist, Michael Sykes, callsign Psycho, is British, but I don't remember if he is in USA unit or some international USA<->UK task force.

idk, seems like an underutilized thing in gaming. so many great movies about British soldiers and spies, especially during WWII, but most of the media focuses on the broader elements or, particularly the US.

I recall they're USA units, so i don't think it counts.
