AI VTUBERS are not the future (but Neuro is still amazing)
I have seen some posts online wondering if AI will take over youtuber and twitch streamers jobs, but i can say with confidence that Neuro has reached heights that other AI streamers will likely never catch up to.

1. Neuro was the first AI VTUBER to be created, and got an initial "novelty" popularity spike because of that.

2. Neuro has done collabs with an extremely high quantity of other streamers, meaning that there is plenty of human interaction involved, instead of only being the AI by itself.

3. Vedal (Neuro's developer) is also an entertaining person himself (even if he tries to claim he is not)

4.Neuro has one of THE most dedicated online communities i have ever seen, with there being multiple small VTUBERS that got popular because of their interactions with Neuro and vedal.

what is real sad is making up problems that do not exist.

i have seen AI chatbots say way funnier comments than that, you cant even do THAT right.

It was not supposed to be fun.. it was supposed to showcase why AI Vtubers and well other AI bots are doomed in the long run.

yet Neuro is more popular than ever.. nice try.

the point of my post is that neuro is likely the only one that will stay popular in the long term due to the mentioned factors.

I have never heard about said "neuro-sama" nor do I know anyone that knows about "it" and I doubt that the vast majority of people would care much about AI Vtubers.
That being said, I fully respect that you like it and watch it. Back in the 80´s I often talked to my toaster for advice, so I guess am I not much better... I often get burned by it however.

you do not speak for the whole world, and surely that toaster could get thousands of live viewers for multiple years straight? oh wait, it could not.

The thing about Neuro is she's also had years of training. Training a neural network means watching it fail at something thousands of times before it finally gets that thing right, and then watching it as it optimizes that thing by doing that thing thousands of times again. Once the AI finally becomes efficient at that thing, it will do a good job at it. But it takes time for it to get there.

Neuro has been vtubing for years, with thousands and thousands of hours playing all sorts of games and talking with chat. Vedal will leave Neuro running overnight so chat can talk with her, which helps train her to interact with humans in chat. She does seem more sophisticated than most other AI, but that's because she's had so much training with human beings in chat and playing so many games for her twitch audience.

Anyone trying to develop a competing vtuber AI will have to repeat all of that before it has any chance of becoming as good as Neuro, which would take years.

My toaster was one of the most known memes back in the early 90´s and it even had # channel on IRC. It was immensly popular (yes memes have existed since the 80´s.... )

Nobody can predict the future ofc, but I think it is very unlikely that vtubers will become the most dominating and popular force on SoMe.

Even the most advanced AI is still pretty easy to detect... Maybe it is because I have so much experience of seeing students that give me AI generated stuff, that actual human work just stands out so much more.

I was watching Neuro play minecraft a couple weeks ago and she is hilariously bad at it. She keeps dying and losing her stuff, and Vedal will try his best to help her so she can be trained to play minecraft properly. He knows he has to be patient.

But I literally watched him find Neuro after dying for the 100th time, give her a complete set of iron armor and a sword, and some tools, and then the first thing she did was dig straight down, fall into water, and then drown underground. She must have had her new equipment for like 10 seconds.

They were playing on a friend's map, I think it was Annie? and Neuro set Annie's house on fire and they watched it burn to the ground.

Then Neuro wandered around her farm and killed all her llamas.

They're just standing there watching Neuro carve a path of destruction and die over and over again, and the whole time she's talking smack. It was hilarious.

They have their work cut out for them trying to teach her to play an open-world game like Minecraft.

yeah it is easy to detect, thats one of the key reasons why neuro-sama is so popular and the other AI VTUBERS are not, they do not have the same advantages that Neuro had.

The real question is. Are you able to see the difference between real AI and not?
You would be surprised about just how advanced the ones that are hidden are... This Nauro one is extremely simplistic if you ask me (that is my opinion, not yours ofc and we should respect eachothers opinions)

the funny thing is, it barely even matters by now, Neuro will continue being popular even if she were to completely stop advancing (that will not happen btw), while the rest will continue to be less popular regardless of how much advanced tech is present.

Overall given all the copyright infringements commited by AI, probably we might see in a few years an AI Vtuber that mimicks close to 1:1 PewDiePie, Markiplier, Mr Beast, Moistcr1tikal, etc. :lunar2020thinkingtiger:
Which if fully customizable it will take parasocial relantionships as a whole, into a more dystopian rabbit hole / abyss.

Good thing that none of these AI copies would ever be popular livestreamers, Neuro alredy took over the AI VTUBER space to such an extent no other can keep up anymore.
I saw that a girl avatar ai vtuber that was made by a man win female streamer at some event.

Just looked u up it's the Nero person mentioned above :lunar2019laughingpig:
