I just want to be brutally honest in this case to the point you will be upset and offended, people don't like being around negative people with a loser attitude or those's who play the victim card. People love winners. Time to change for your own good.
Also, having to live until you die is another thing that you have in common with everyone.
Life can be hard and miserable at times, but it can also be quite enjoyable and easy going some days as well. All that we can do is to hope, pray (if that's your thing), and work towards making life better for more enjoyable days to come.
Blaming your parents for bringing you into the world is not going to help you at all. How would they know that you would find life meaningless? They were just doing what mother nature programs us to do: procreate.
I'm not sure how you feel about religion, or if you take a scientific approach to why we are here and why we are driven to procreate, but in any case life is programmed to live on and procreate so that we "live on" through our children and theirs etc...
Perhaps, that is our meaning in life? To keep on living and experiencing life. To work towards a better future? You may think it's pointless, but think of it like this: If you were never born, how would that be better for you? You wouldn't have known about life's ups and downs. You would experience nothing, and more than that, you wouldn't know at all, because there would have never been a "you" to begin with.
So now that you are here, you might as well try to make the best of things while you are here. Who knows what happens after we die? Do we "live on" as spirits like the religions say? Or do we just "poof" out of existing and thinking? If we live on as spirits, well then that makes one's life pretty much like a nano second of existing on Earth until we transcend into what we are really destined to be (as spirits). If that's wrong, and there's just nothing after we die, no more thinking etc... well then what good will it be to die? It's not like you would know once life is over, so what would be the benefit of that happening?
Ok, that's just a little food for thought for you. I hope that you may find peace and meaning in your life, however you decide to work towards that. Just understand that you are not alone in struggling with these kinds of thoughts. All that we can do is try to put those negative thoughts out of mind and put more positive thoughts in place of them. Maybe even just put all thoughts out of mind and do some work to better your life even if it's just something like cleaning up the house, exercising, or busy work to keep your mind off of things for a while. Talk with others.
Do whatever you think will help you through it. This life may be all that we have, so make the best of things while you can.
What is the point? And that's the problem with eternal life, it eternally devalues life. Life is precious when it is finite, unfortunately we humans by nature don't respect or love anything that is rare or sacred.
I agree sir 🙏
As a wise man said... something like... " i have a white wolf and a black wolf and every day they fight. And I know which one will win every time.
I know which one will win because, I'm the one that fed him.
You get to wonder and marvel at what you are a part of! Makes no difference how you got here!
Bask in yourself, seek your meaning and purpose and enjoy the opportunity random chaos gave you to simply exist.
Or don't and be melodramatic about it. You're in change of your own journey and it begins with the first step.
i agree
