I want to buy Switch, is Switch 2 coming anytime soon?

I finally saved money to buy Switch OLED but I hear some rumors saying Switch 2 should release this year, is it worth waiting for new one or OLED is enough, I just want to play mario kart and zelda games. Thanks.

Yeah I'd wait, switch has been out for a while now - if Switch 2 is BC then just get your switch games later - If it isn't BC than you can buy a switch second hand cheap for those upgrading.

I'd wait, Nintendo themselves have said they plan to have an announcement about the Switch 2 by the end of March in 2025. I think it can be safely said it's coming soon(ish)

Better then the other two consoles that have absolutely nothing of worth to play on it. Well other then Astrobot, and Stellar Blade for one. And the other having the entire library being on PC anyway.

the zelda games run at 30fps with dips so it's worth waiting then playing on the switch 2 (if you don't like the challenge) and obviously all original switch games should be compatible, just wait

if you wanna play mario kart now then a second hand wii and the game shouldn't be too expensive while waiting ... meh

you'll need to do a switch in the first place to do that but i guess you can borrow a friends

the wii U was nintendos worst console and the "u" doesn't fit with the switches name, the whole idea before was like "we you" for some reason ... something to do with the gamepad and you doin stuff??? the switch 2 definitely won't have anything like that, the gamepad sucked and it'll be really dumb to use the name again

anyway half of the reason it flopped was because people thought the gamepad was the wii U, just an accessory, a lil gamepad for your wii
