DEI is very expensive, remember they cut the budget, but that's missing the point because DEI hires basically double the cost for half the work so they were that much further in the hole to begin with.

It amazes me the same people who continually claim we're going to see worse and worse "climate events" -- which they consider these wildfires despite arson probabilities -- are also the people who decided not to prepare for these events.

If you truly believed that your area was going to see more wildfires in the future, and you were in power politically, wouldn't you do everything you could to prepare for them instead of just looting the treasury?

Then you could say, "We told you so" but also you could say "But we were ready, and we stopped it before it burned tens of thousands of structures to the ground. Vote for us again because we have proven that we were ready for that thing we predicted."

Instead of just "We told you so, now give us more money. These Bentleys don't pay for themselves, you know."

Let me tell you something that I've observed over many MANY years:

People that preach tolerance are often the most intolerant.
People that accuse others of bigotry are often quite bigoted themselves.

Many of these people are activists that hate traditional heterosexual relationships, they hate white people (especially white men) and they hate beautiful & feminine women. The internet is full of examples that it's not funny. I think it is more accurate to say that these activists actually hate themselves and are taking it out on the world.

D.E.I should stand for Division, Exclusivity and Intolerance. Because that is exactly what it is.
