you really want compare with the life of our very old grand parent ???
i admit it is not perfect, but damn i dont want the childhood of my mom and dad :^(
Boomers didn't have netflix, computers, video-games (aside from like... pong?), hundreds of other subscription-based services aside from the local news paper... and a whole host of other financial traps that eat away at Gen-Z's paychecks. Touching grass (or smoking it) was a passtime of sorts.
On the other hand...
Gen Z is dealing with the financial fallout of Boomer AND Gen-Xer policies with inflation pricing them out of the housing market alltogether and shrinking their paychecks even further.
But yeah, you're right in the other part, it's us boomer's fault for sure or started even earlier, this is just the culmination.
OTOH, if you look for decovery, the first step is always to stop blaming others and look whet YOU can do about it. (Never mind, that is the very piece of wisdom we did not pass on and replaced with its opposite.)
youngest boomer age is 60. you are 60 years or older?
Have you seen what 1890 looked like? Wars. Disease. Intense poverty.
How many wars were you involved in? Here is the thing: We have the easiest time in history. Those things I mentioned are no longer a threat. Well disease is, but not like how it was 100 years ago.
Instead, we are dying from our food consumption. Young people, under 40, are developing colon cancers, type2 diabetes, and heart disease at a rapid clip. This stems from processed food consumption, and our laziness.
you tend to build wealth over time
