Because in Britain where he lived before, it became more and more authoritarian and culturally enriched.

So he decided to go to Japan, where life quality is very high, its very safe and medical care is top notch while wealthy people are respected there.

I thought native Japanese essentially never welcome anyone from the west that comes to stay there, even if they become a citizen. At least, I think in some parts they call you something that starts with a g, but it might sound like an interesting word, if you know Japanese its...weird as a foreigner...but they just don't generally accept foreigners much, if at all, they keep close to their own people.

i think he should go to the country where his people are instead of going to somewhere else and ruining it by just being there
Because it’s his choice?

Japan is an awful country.

He should have stayed in Sweden, which is a way better country.
Because of:

1) Low criminal rate
2) Values rich ppl
3) Better climate than Sweden or UK (possibly)

It's the land of Nintendo, Playstation, candy cabs, anime and cat cafes.

Sounds like a pretty swell place to live to me if you never ever find yourself in a court of law.

If you do find yourself in a Japanese court of law though, well, that's what inspired the kangaroo antics of the Ace Attorney games, and as fun as those are to play, they're not exactly the life you want to live.

Already proved somebody else was the murderer and you're still found guilty.
