Go to college or Uni, expect to start with a lower salary. You could also just look for a teacher in trade skills. Office work is very bland, sometimes the smell of hot metal or woodchips cheers people up.

Check into an unpaid internship through your education institute. Sucks, but it gets your foot in the door.

Additionally, check local temp services. Some offer clerical jobs and those can sometimes lead to permanent positions.

If you did well in those places, mention them.

Fast food and warehouse jobs are normally well-known and provide excellent references for those starting off into their career. They can at least show you are a team player and hard worker, etc.

Yet at the same time look at the job position requirements.

Show that you are learning and working up to that position. Specially in the cover letter.

Good advice. I never networked when I was younger and it made progressing my career a lot more difficult.
