What do you think the "cut-off" age is for "making it?"
There's always exceptions, but most people aren't exceptions, so where do you think the line stands between those with a potential future and those who are doomed to languish in mediocrity for the rest of their lives?

If you're deciding the cut-off for someone else then you've made it.
If you aren't helping those below the cut-off get above the cut-off then you're also a horrible person.

Sorry, I meant cut-off age. Title changed.

You can still win the lottery at age 90+. . . .
Having enough appreciating assets for early retirement or substantial passive income.
The safety net of guaranteed income regardless of what you do means people with potential will have the time to actually pursue their potential.

How can you try out a musical instrument, focus on writing a book, or invent something new, if you're forced to work a full-time job?

If you're a young person today, diligently pursue a stable career and avoid squandering your pay. Save every penny.
You don't need bottled sugary drinks. You don't need that Youtube premium.

There is none. You can literally read all about it. You had Grandpas opening companies that are now multi-national. I get that some people think they're some youth prodigies for reaching "success" within their safe bubbles (there are exceptions) at a certain age, but reality doesn't care about your age.

There are so many variables involved in this I'm not sure it could come down to age.
I want to say income is priority, but people with bad financial habits can burn through their $100K+ income. I've seen 50-60 year olds inherit life changing wealth from the deaths of their parents, only to squander it due to bad financial habits.
Honestly it comes down to financial habits and ability to learn from ones mistakes.

There is no age to it, only a mentality to it.
By happenstance, that mentality sets in beneath crushing negativity and that is how you get neuroticism.
When someone is stuck in their ways in their age because change is difficult, that is the beginning of the end.
Consistency has to be Created, it never just naturally occurs.
Chaos naturally occurs, we have to shape Order OUT OF that Chaos, through Creating Consistency from it.

There is no age to innovation, but there IS a mentality that can completely and totally block it from progressing.

It can take many years to become skilled enough in a profession to "make it" the exception is a younger person not an older one.
law isnt real; let yourself prove it wrong
If you don't have a 3 floor mansion and a thriving business importing and selling questionably obtained goods from elsewhere by the age of 14 then you won't ever make it

It's over. Better luck next time

Well sh!t, if even by the age of 14 you do have that as a resource, I mean, that you had to do that in the first place is kind of giving up the game and submitting to defeat right then and there, innit?

The only cut-off is death.

Not if you're making bank off it

The ends justify the means my friend
If you're not in a career by 35 there is no hope.
