David Greenberg - or Mark Zuckerberg as he prefers to be called - is only stating that he will reign in the censorship on Facebook because he wants to protect his bottom line. The minute that the people he donates to on the regular - neoliberals through and through - are in charge - which hopefully they never will be again - is the minute he will sink the knife in once more like the shifty Generation 2.5 Synth that he is.

They haven't learned anything because it hasn't affected them. The goal is to create the modern audience by foregoing short-term profits for long-term cultural gain so that there is a generation of people who know nothing but the garbage they shovel out on the ready.

Regardless, you probably won't see an end of the propaganda pieces masquerading as games until 2028 maybe. What with the unreasonably lengthy and increasingly fruitless dev cycle and all that.

They're as conservative as the neoconservatives here in the states in that they don't conserve anything at all whatsoever. Furthermore, there is nothing progressive about a totalitarian statist style of governance which takes leaves out of the books that monarchs and theocrats of the Middle and Dark Ages would often use. If anything much like the so-called progressives of today it's rather regressive.

Then again the progressive movement which was in part started by Theodore Roosevelt and his contemporaries in both the eugenics movement and the Temperance Movement wasn't really progressive to begin with. What with all the blatant science denial and superstitious obsessions that were part and parlance with that point in time. The Theosophists, nutty as they were, were infinitely more progressive.

Course that and how the New Age movement and thus the modern misinterpretation of such things like Wicca, soulmates, karma and the like being born of said works having been butchered by Dunning Kruger hippies who later became the yuppies that in turn sired the so-called progressives in name only today is another kettle of fish.
