If it was predominately women, they might've had a slight argument, but instead, this hasn't happened. In fact, I'd argue Marvel Rivals has some of the best character design in a while, simply because it looks like a Rob Liefeld drawing, and because everyone is absolutely ripped.

Going to bet that if you tell someone that they look like a Marvel Rivals character, they'd take it as a compliment. But comparisons to Concord characters would be taken as an insult.

That... is exactly what the oversaturated argument is about.
Oversaturated means there's a lot of competition. If a product does not stand out, it fails.
You've just reiterated what they've been saying from the start.

Despite that, people argue that the market being oversaturated is just an excuse since Marvel Rivals released into that same oversaturated market but is successful, thus people look at it and claim it's because the game isn't woke or whatever.

So explaining it in more detail is necessary as simply saying these games released in an oversaturated market alone doesn't say what people need to actually hear.

I should have said "half explaining" instead of "half understanding" though.

The issue is that the people defending Concord are not looking for the truth. They don't are about the explanations, and as such, it would fall on deaf ears. So spending the time explaining it, would be wasted.

That's why I usually do not spend any time explaining it unless someone else first engages with the point. If they are willing to engage with the point, then they might also be willing to listen to the justifications behind it. I just want to see that willingness first.

And the modern woke movement is basically just the next step of political correctness. Making everything bland, sterile, and uninteresting is their goal. You remove all the flavor so that it isn't likely to offend anyone. That's what Concord did. That is why it was unappealing, and that was why it flopped.

If anti woke people weren't constantly bringing it up, it would have been forgotten ages ago outside of secret level reminding everyone it existed for 5 minutes.

The only time people as a whole thought about Concord where during four key points: announcement, release, shutdown, secret level episode.

Obviously, yes, there are people out there who were fans of the game. But we all know how miniscule the player count is so the pool of people that did end up becoming fans is even smaller, doubling everything to account for consoles.

Point is I don't think there's enough Concord fans in existence for any conduct from them, good or bad, to matter.
