Last time I had fried chicken was in I think 2012. Had a black girl as one of my roommates, and she decided to make fried chicken and some macaroni one night. Shared it with me and while she was not that good of a cook - and the chicken was a little undercooked - it was alright. On par with the fried potatoes that the Apache meth addict I had as a roommate in 2009 who later picked a fight with the cops in the dead of night made.

I think she got kicked out of the adult group home I was in at the time because she picked a fight with one of the other mental patients there. Also because that food was technically for the residents who paid the landlord extra and thus didn't have to buy their own groceries. Which, as an aside I like how 90% of the people at that particular one I was in between 2010 and 2013 had either Bipolar or chronic depression and yet it's the autistic schizophrenic with PTSD that is me who in turn did 90% of the cooking and cleaning despite me not even paying to have groceries bought for me.

Perhaps it is I who should be the wrangler?

I make my own with lean chicken, bread crumbs and Moroccan spices. Slice then shake in a tub before pan frying. It doesn't need much if any oil.

Yeah, COVID-19 couldn't live on take out from big chicken places, on your US Mail, or instacart take out bags from big walmart or chain stores.

Just them mom and pop shops.
