Anchovies do NOT belong on pizza.

I not like anchovies.. but trationally they do belong on pizza:) and if ground down and mixed in the sauce they are ok (especially with that nice marinara pizza)

you can use anshovies ground down as a replacement for salt.. and on some pizza's that works...
but tossing WHOLE anchovies on pizza.. well lets say.. thats kryptonite to anybody not italian..

just as black double salted licorice is something we dutch love but any non dutch cant stomach...
anchovies are that italians only thing..

That's one too many ways of describing why anchovies don't belong on pizza.

Next time, I'm gonna dump a can of tuna on my pizza and test this out.

anchovies do tradtionally belong on pizza
but personally I not like them..
I am ok with grounded anchovies mixed in the sauce.. it can be nice especially for a fish pizza. tasting like a more umami salt.

but whole they are MUCH to strong for my taste... but it's very italian to just toss the whole can of them on a pizza whole..

it has squid, mussels, clams, scallops, cockles, ensis, wild shrimp, crap, lobster

but I always get PISSED if they toss tuna on a pizza and call that venetia even worse if they also add salmon.. it's fruti di mare.. NOT fish..

if they mix in some ground down anshovis with the sauce on a good venetia.. I can actually enjoy that.. it enriches the sauce..

but whole ones? I leave that to the sardinians and other italians... to me that is torture..

we all know the worst pizza is the pizza at work... you get instead of the raise you should have gotten.. while managment walk away with the record priofits we made this year..

they all get million euro bonusses.. while the crew get a crappy slice of pizza...
"sorry can't afford to give you that 4% raise... ceo needs that new private jet.. here have a pizza party..

That sounds interesting, a bit much for me. Shame they aren't consistent with ingredients.

I'd sooner have a seafood paella if I was going to have those ingredients over a pizza.

I'm not a huge fan of seafood on pizza has to be said.
