I think old cat memes are way way better than the annoying monstrosities we have right now.

I've noticed memes are becoming less of cultural phenomenons or popular jokes and more of an expression of narcissism in "funny quirky image/video" format.

(To clarify, by "narcissism" I mean the original definition, not the personality disorder. The word existed far before the personality disorder was named. People have gotten annoyed at me for this.)
